A GoHighLevel alternative built around production.

HighLevel is a broad marketing platform covering CRM, conversations, social media, automation, payments and a mobile app, with unlimited users. Clics does less, but it tracks production: a video pipeline, time-stamped client review, and sub-accounts included in the tier. If most of what you ship is content, Clics maps more closely to your workday.

Clics is a CRM for marketing agencies in Canada: video production pipeline, branded client portal with time-stamped review, social post scheduler, Meta leads and an agency dashboard, in French and English.

  • HighLevel Starter is US$97 a month with 3 sub-accounts; Unlimited is US$297 and Agency Pro US$497, both with unlimited sub-accounts.

  • HighLevel’s branded client portal is an add-on at US$49 a month per sub-account.

  • Clics Studio is CA$219 a month with 5 sub-accounts and the client portal included.

What the two “Partial” ratings mean.

Clics is our product, and we graded our own rows as strictly as HighLevel’s.

A client portal in the agency’s colours. The Clics portal does carry your name, logo and colours, and clients approve their videos there. The branding is set at install time, one brand per install, so you can’t switch it client by client from inside the app.

The conversations inbox. It brings together the agency’s Gmail and the WhatsApp threads each team member connects. Messenger, Instagram messages and SMS are not in it, so a true every-channel inbox isn’t something Clics offers today.

Two rows say No, plainly: Clics handles no payments or invoicing, and it has no mobile app; you use it in the browser.

Where Clics goes further for a content agency.

  • Edits reviewed to the second

Clients pin notes to an exact moment on the picture, then approve or request another version. Every version stays attached to the video’s record.

  • Thirteen production states

Concept, shoot, footage, edit, internal review, client review, publishing, boost: every state has an owner and a deadline, and anything overdue gets a reminder, then an escalation.

  • Nothing posts without sign-off

A video can only be scheduled on Facebook or Instagram once the client has approved it. The scheduler is tied to the pipeline instead of sitting beside it.

  • The CRM inside Claude

Anyone on the team can connect their own Claude and have it read or act in the CRM with their permissions: a daily summary, a review of what’s late, a follow-up on open leads.

Running the numbers for your agency.

The two pricing models work differently, so it pays to do the math. HighLevel charges by sub-account and gives you unlimited users; Clics charges by person and includes sub-accounts from Studio up.

Say you’re a 10-person team that wants a branded portal for 5 clients. Starter stops at 3 sub-accounts, so you’d need Unlimited at US$297, plus the US$49 portal on each of the 5 sub-accounts: US$542 a month, about CA$747.96 at 1.38. Clics Studio is CA$219 with the portal and 5 sub-accounts included. On HighLevel, texts, calls and emails are billed on top, by usage.

It can tip the other way too. A large team that needs only 3 sub-accounts and no portal pays US$97 a month on HighLevel, however many users it has. At 20 people, Clics Agency is CA$639. If that’s you, HighLevel costs less.

When to stick with HighLevel.

  • You take client payments in your CRM. Payments and invoicing live in HighLevel, not in Clics.
  • Your team works from their phones. HighLevel has a mobile app, plus usage-billed texting and calling; Clics has neither.
  • You build your own automations. HighLevel lists workflow automation; Clics stops at automatic reminders and escalations on deadlines you set.
  • You have a big team and few clients. Unlimited users tilt the math toward HighLevel.
  • You don’t make video. Without a video pipeline to run, the main reason to pick Clics goes away.

Frequently asked questions

Are GoHighLevel and HighLevel the same product?

Yes. The product goes by HighLevel and lives at gohighlevel.com, hence both names. The pricing and features on this page come from its pricing page as of October 2, 2026.

Does Clics have sub-accounts like HighLevel?

Yes. Each client can have a workspace with their opportunities, notes and appointments, a calendar, a dashboard and the videos they need to review. Studio includes 5; Agency has no limit. Solo has none.

Is the client portal an add-on with Clics?

No, every tier includes it. Clients open a link, no account required, and see their videos under your brand, which is configured once at install.

Can Clics send text messages?

No. The inbox covers the agency’s Gmail and WhatsApp, which each person connects. There’s no SMS, no calling and no Messenger.

How long does a move from HighLevel take?

It depends on how many clients you have and what you keep running in HighLevel. The custom install includes setup, the Meta and Google connections and training, followed by 90 days of support.
