How to read this table.
Clics is our product, Timeliner isn’t, so we held ourselves to two rules. Timeliner’s prices are copied from its public pricing page on the date shown and converted at the stated rate, with nothing estimated. Every “Yes” on the Clics side was checked against the code, screen by screen, before it went in the table.
Two rows read No for Clics, and we left them where you can see them. Timeliner lets people comment on a transcript; Clics doesn’t transcribe, so feedback is pinned to the picture, to the second. Timeliner tracks payments; Clics does no invoicing or payments, which stay in your accounting software.
Two rows read Partial. Profitability: Clics reports revenue and delivery per client, not costs, hours or margin on a project. Automations: automatic reminders and escalations on deadlines you set, with no free-form rule builder. Social scheduling, meanwhile, covers Facebook and Instagram only.
Going the other way, four rows are missing on the Timeliner side: leads from Meta forms landing in the CRM on their own, a conversations inbox (Gmail and WhatsApp, not Messenger), sub-accounts where each client follows their own opportunities, and a connector that lets each team member work in the CRM from their own Claude.

Renting seats or owning the tool.
Timeliner is rented seat by seat. Clics also comes as a custom install: CA$5,000 once, or three payments of $1,750, set up under your brand on your agency’s own Cloudflare account. The app and its database live with you, and if you ever stop working with us, they stay put. Hosting is about US$5 a month paid straight to Cloudflare, or CA$79 a month if you’d rather we manage it.
Headcount doesn’t change the price. Against Timeliner’s Agency plan at its 10 included seats (CA$274.62 a month), the custom install breaks even in 19 months and leaves you $4,634 ahead after three years. Against Scale at 20 seats (CA$688.62), it’s 8 months and $19,538.
The calculator above answers a different question: what is the cheapest Timeliner plan your team fits on? For 10 people that’s Studio plus five extra seats, CA$191.82 a month, and the custom install catches up with it in 28 months. Both figures hold; they just measure against different plans.

Does Clics have Timeliner’s time-stamped comments?
Yes. Clients and your team pin comments to an exact moment in the video, marked under the player, then approve or ask for changes. The one gap: Clics doesn’t transcribe, so nobody comments on a transcript.
Why does the calculator say 28 months when this page says 19?
They measure against different plans. The 19 months set the custom install against Agency at its 10 seats. The calculator picks the cheapest plan your team fits on: for 10 people, Studio plus five seats at CA$191.82, caught up with in 28 months.
