FAQ
The questions we get asked.
The questions agency owners ask us before choosing Clics: what it costs, where your data lives, what the demo lets you do, what Clics does and doesn’t do yet compared with Timeliner, and how a custom install works. Every answer sticks to what the product does today, not what it might do someday.
Clics is a CRM for marketing agencies in Canada: video production pipeline, branded client portal with time-stamped review, social post scheduler, Meta leads and an agency dashboard, in French and English.
Before you choose Clics
What is Clics, in one sentence?
A CRM for marketing agencies that keeps production (video pipeline, shoots, workload), sales (Meta leads, email) and client work (branded portal, approvals, publishing) in one place, in English and French.
How much does Clics cost?
Subscription: Solo $69, Studio $219 and Agency $639 a month, for 5, 10 and 20 people, $8 per extra person, 20% off yearly. Custom install: $5,000 once, or three payments of $1,750. Prices in Canadian dollars, taxes extra.
Why is there a waitlist for the subscription?
Because the hosted, multi-agency version isn’t open yet. Joining is free and commits you to nothing; we email you when it opens. The custom install, on the other hand, can be booked today.
Custom install or subscription: which one?
Go custom if you want to own the tool with no per-seat pricing: against Timeliner’s Agency plan (10 seats), it pays for itself in 19 months. The subscription suits a small team that doesn’t want to pay up front: for 5 people, Solo is $69 a month.
Where is our data hosted?
With a custom install, on your agency’s own Cloudflare account: the app and the database belong to you. Hosting terms for the subscription will be published when it opens.
Does Clics help with Quebec’s Law 25?
Law 25 puts obligations on your business, not on your software, and no tool makes you compliant by itself. What Clics gives you: with a custom install, your clients’ information stays on your own account, and the activity log shows who did what and when, with a separate access log.
Is Clics really bilingual?
Yes. The whole app, the client portal and the notifications exist in English and French. Each person picks their language; the portal and video language is set separately.
Can we migrate from Timeliner?
There is no automatic import from Timeliner. If you are coming from it, tell us on the call: we look at what you need to bring over before the install, and give you a straight answer on what it involves.
What does Timeliner do that Clics doesn’t?
Two things in full: transcript comments and payment tracking. Clics has no transcripts and no invoicing. Two more in part: per-project profitability (Clics shows revenue and delivery per client, not costs or hours) and automations (reminders and escalations, but no rule builder). The other way round, Timeliner has no Meta leads CRM, no conversations inbox, no client sub-accounts and no Claude connector. The sourced table is on the Timeliner alternative page.
Does Clics calculate profitability per project?
No. The dashboard shows revenue and delivery per client: each client’s plan price, 12-month recurring revenue, videos delivered against videos promised, and team punctuality. It does not track costs, hours or margin per project.
Is there an iOS app?
No. Clics runs in the browser. Notifications show up in the app, as browser notifications and, for your clients, by email.
What does Clics do with Meta?
Two things. Leads from your Facebook and Instagram lead forms land in the CRM on their own. And the scheduler publishes Reels, Stories and photos to Facebook and Instagram on time, up to 60 days ahead. You connect the Meta app and your pages. Messenger messages are not connected.
And with Google?
The agency’s Gmail (one agency Google account) syncs into threads every 5 minutes, and you reply from the contact’s record. Each person can also link their Google Calendar to shoots. Outlook is not supported.
Is the client portal really under our brand?
Yes: your name, logos, colours and domain, set at install time. It is one brand per installation, your agency’s; clients see, comment on and approve their videos under your name.
What is the Claude connector?
Each team member can connect their own Claude to Clics and ask it to read or act in the CRM with their own permissions: clients, leads, videos, posts, tasks, calendar. Ready-made prompts are included, like “daily summary” or “follow up on leads”.
Can I try it without talking to sales?
Yes. The demo opens a complete agency in one click, with no account and no card, for 24 hours. You can also open a client’s space, exactly as they would see it under your brand.
