A HubSpot alternative built for content agencies.
HubSpot is a general-purpose CRM with a free plan for two users. Clics is a production CRM for content agencies: a thirteen-state video pipeline, a portal where clients leave feedback down to the second, and Meta leads filed under the right client. Which one fits depends on what your team spends most of its day managing.
Clics is a CRM for marketing agencies in Canada: video production pipeline, branded client portal with time-stamped review, social post scheduler, Meta leads and an agency dashboard, in French and English.
HubSpot lists a Free plan at $0 a month for up to 2 users.
Clics Solo is CA$69 a month for 5 people and includes the pipeline, the client portal and time-stamped review.

Different tools for different jobs.
Clics is our product, and we won’t pretend it replaces HubSpot for everyone. They solve different problems.
A general-purpose CRM is designed to track contacts and deals in any industry. What a tool like that doesn’t know out of the box is how a video gets made: concept, shoot, footage, edit, internal review, client review, publishing.
That’s where Clics starts. A content agency isn’t closing one deal at a time; it ships videos and posts every month to clients who have to sign off on them. The CRM is built around that delivery, and the sales side (Meta leads, sub-account opportunities) plugs into it.
One note on the table: we didn’t verify video review or a Claude connector on HubSpot’s side, so those rows are left out rather than marked “No” on a claim we couldn’t back up.
What a content agency gets from Clics.
A pipeline that speaks video
Thirteen states from Concept to Done, each owned by a role and given a deadline. Videographers, editors and ads managers see what’s next without anyone chasing them.
Feedback on the picture
In a portal under your name, clients pin notes to an exact moment in the edit and then approve. They never have to create an account.
Meta leads, already sorted
A completed Facebook or Instagram form becomes a record in the CRM, attached to the client whose page it came from. Someone claims it, dismisses it or converts it.
A workspace for each client
Sub-accounts give clients a mini-CRM of their own: opportunities, notes, appointments, a calendar and the videos waiting for their review.

When to keep HubSpot.
Stay on HubSpot, or keep it alongside Clics, if any of these sound like you:
- Your sales team already works there. If your reps and their follow-ups live in HubSpot, switching tools just for production costs more than it saves.
- Two users are enough. HubSpot’s free plan covers two people. Clics has no free plan, only an open demo.
- You talk to clients on Messenger. HubSpot lists a Facebook Messenger integration; the Clics inbox handles Gmail and WhatsApp, not Messenger.
- You want invoicing in the same tool as your client records. Clics does no invoicing and no payment tracking, so that stays in other software.
If you run both, know that they won’t sync: we don’t offer a HubSpot connector. Clics connects to Meta for leads and to Google for Gmail, Calendar and Drive.
Pricing, plainly.
HubSpot’s Starter plan is billed per seat, and on the day we checked it showed a promotional price for new customers with no currency stated. We don’t reproduce it here; read it on their page when you’re ready to decide.
Clics prices are in Canadian dollars, plus tax. The subscription, opening through a waitlist, is $69, $219 or $639 a month for 5, 10 or 20 people, then $8 per additional person. The custom install is $5,000 once, set up under your brand on your own account, with no per-seat fee.

Frequently asked questions
Can Clics replace HubSpot for sales?
For a content agency that sells mostly through Meta lead forms, often yes: leads arrive on their own and convert into clients. If your sales team is already organized in HubSpot, leave it there rather than moving just for production.
Can we import our HubSpot contacts?
Bring it up on the call and we’ll work out what needs to move. There’s no connector between Clics and HubSpot, so any migration is planned case by case.
HubSpot has a free plan. Why pay for Clics?
HubSpot’s free plan is a sales CRM for two people. Clics costs money because it runs production: the video pipeline, client review and a Facebook and Instagram scheduler. If you don’t need that, the free plan is probably enough.
Does Clics handle Messenger like HubSpot does?
No. The Clics inbox takes in the agency’s Gmail and the WhatsApp threads each team member connects. Messenger isn’t part of it.
Will my clients have to learn a new tool?
They open a link to their portal, under your brand, and see their videos. Clients with a sub-account also find their opportunities and calendar there, in English or French.
